I've got one of the above but it won't charge any longer.. i've taken it apart and re-soldered (however you spell it) the charger port on the mother boared as described on different sites but still no good.. i'm now looking for a HP Media Cable (see post in general chat) but has anyone got any other ideas on trying to get power to it.. and no, i'm not up to trying to get a new one free.. not just yet.. | Re: Compaq Presario R300 series laptopProbably a busted power supply - see if you can find a replacement psu on ebay maybe? {edit} or can you at least test your existing power supply somehow? assuming of course you haven't already done so... oh and check the fuse in the plug!  |
