I think Ash is suffering from the "boy who cried wolf" syndrome a bit

I've been using RI for a couple of years now and this has been a recurring theme, lots of support and activity from Ash, then he disappears for a month or so then comes back with an excuse like he was designing the new site etc..

I'm not saying he wasn't in a bad crash and doesn't have the same problems in his life that we all have, but if this site is his sole income and livliehood he should start taking his site and his customers more seriously.

I hope that RI goes from strength to strength and wish him all the best for his future but he should be aware that his customers will only take so much poor service before jumping ship

Here we go again, same old RI

Sent in a support ticket early on the 17th and still no response, 4 days and counting.

Ash, no matter how beautiful and fancy the new website is, it won't matter if you have no customers.

Take my advice, look after the customers you still have, a new design won't keep us happy, answering tickets and getting our stuff sent out on time will.

I know :/ My order was promised to be shipped for next day delivery on Monday. I am still to receive a support ticket reply to confirm this. My last reply was on 6 September. I just don't get this. Ash is shooting himself in the foot here. I've noticed that he's been online this morning and yesterday morning and i did pm him back (as he did pm me to promise Donna would sort it out on Saturday) but no replies on both support and here. Work on getting your sites back on track Ash and THEN sort the design out. Because your network is still suffering a lot and i'm in the firing line as a customer with no responses or items received!

If I remember rightly Ash said that he was starting Uni this Monday. (two days ago)

I'm not complaining so much at Ash, but Donna i guess. Ash promised that Donna would sort it out on the weekend and nothing has happened despite Ash saying he spoke to her about my account and saying she will sort it out on Saturday evening or Sunday at latest. Ultimately its R-I's problem and i can't do a thing about it as it probably won't be until the weekend now before i get the possibility of a reply

Yeah I tried to re-edit my post but it was past the 5 minute mark.

Not sure whats happened to Donna or what's going on with her, but now more than ever Ash needs her help.

I hope she comes out of hiding soon to try and sort things out whilst giving Ash some time to sort himself out and get back on track.

Just going to say it now. Even though I do not have personal experiences with RI's support tickets/shipping ect I have to admit this...This whole Donna lark is abit fishy if you ask me ...

Ash has no time to answer support tickets, but can apparently log into Exceem for a nosey about.

I don't expect him to not have a life or other intersets but if this site is his only source of income IT should be his priority and nothing else.

Plenty of people on this site have forgiven Ash time and time again, but their patience is wearing very very thin.

How can you say this this should be his priority and nothing else?

He's just started uni for gods sake.
It's not about having a life as I highly doubt he'll have much of a social life at the moment.
So he comes on for a bit in the morning? Who's to say he's not answering support tickets but just hasn't reached yours yet.

You've been waiting for four days, others have been waiting longer.
I'm sure you'll receive a reply in due course. You got the iPod you were going to file a claim for because you would never receive it. I'm pretty confident that Ash will do everything in his power now to get things sorted.

I've been waiting almost 50 days for a reply on the support site. (Ash did update me with what the problem was but he said the solution was found and he said Donna would respond and she hasn't!! ) As you said Ash is probably getting into Uni atm which means he can't do much with R-I atm. Wouldn't be so bad if Donna was doing her job but once again bam another promise has been broken. I know he's starting Uni and it's a big time for him but if he can't juggle the 2 together he needs to get someone else cojoining him to run the business again rather than what Donna is doing now (aka nothing). Because he's back now, and you expect as a business it would be back on track by now, Uni or no Uni it is a business.

I think it's a massive communication breakdown between Ash and Donna, or just Donna not doing her part, but it's just speculation as we know very little about Donna and what her life may be like, as RI may not be her job but more of a side project. All you can do is just wait.

If as Ash has said himself RI is his main source of income, he should be aware that his customers are leaving his site and referring people elsewhere in droves.

I'm not stirring stuff up or trying to start a debate, I like RI and Like Ash [when he's in the mood for his customers] but I feel that constantly defending him is doing more harm than good, RI needs a total overhaul and change in attitude if it is going to stay in business.

Oh and yes I did get my Ipod i was threatening Ash with legal action over, 4 months after I ordered it !

I'm grateful to get it but would you allow any store anywhere to delay your item by 4 months, I think not, if you bought an item on eBay and you waited 2 weeks you would be filing a complaint etc

I don't think anything I've posted could be considered a rant

I am trying to show Ash that he had a very good network and he has let things slip badly, not just with the time away due to his crash but this has been going on for at least 2 years now.

If he starts taking better care of his customers they will be loyal to him and his site

I think blindly defending someone who clearly has problems will not help RI and may contribute to its demise

anyway , free country and free speech so dry your eyes.

In no way am I defending RI's actions. I thought exceem was more than just a place to moan about RI all day....
