Well everyone, if I've got my facts right, Ash is a director of iShock Media Ltd.

The current law states that director's home addresses are stored under the company record which anyone can buy from Companies House...

You can get his address for free, but what good is that going to do?

seriously, just be patient or let it go....you're only going to get more and more stressed out about it and wound up about it if you pursue things....not to mention legal fees, is it really worth it? I've lost out 9 greens, which is annoying, but lets not get things out of proportion!

If everyone that is owed greens chipped in would enough of us be owed enough to make it financially viable taking Ash to court ?

Costs about £400 for a lawyer to pursue a claim through the small claims courts [ I've checked this out ]

But, yeah, won't help at all. Just give Ash some space and time, stop the flaming, and eventually I'm confident he'll come through and be back on top form.

I think it's too late for him to come back and be on "top form" again. Not that I can remember what top form was for RI... it's been so long.

I've known Ash for quite some time, both as a friend, and also in a professional relationship. I've not heard from him for many months, but based on what I know of his character, he'll be back.

He has left it too long to "come back and be on top form" though. People won't just pretend nothing ever happened and carry on using RI.

I've been waiting for my Ipod for almost 4 months to this point, I have also been promised it will be dealt with in the "next couple of days" 4 times so far. So in your opinion I should be patient ! how much more patient do I need to be ? Should I expect things to get moving before Christmas ?

I actually asked matkavs before a while back. Apparently he lives a few blocks away and hasn't actually seen Ash's house but rather met at this shop to pick up cash from him or something!

I'm not that bothered to be honest, but its just not a way to run a business. Remember this is a business like any other and so its shocking for customers to have to wait on his personal issues.

If he is incapable of running a relatively simple business (as a freebie one is) then he should have sold up or stopped trading temporarily. All he is doing is damaging his reputation.

Knowing the address helps if you wish to file a claim with www.moneyclaim.gov.uk. It's cheap too, I think £30 for up to claims of £300.

Anyway, it would also put a black mark on Ash's name/address as he is the director of a company which is being perused in court. This can only benefit people in the future as Ash is incapable of running a business, he shouldn't be running another one in the future.

I personally am involved in a business and its what I think about pretty much non stop - always checking emails on the go, etc, putting the customer first. Thats the sort of service I would expect.

OUt if all the messages on this thread jazzy you have got it spot on. It's a businines at the end of the day and he is running it like he is a criminal. I don't need the gift that much it's just the principal of the matter. I am 31 years old and I have my own business and have never let my customers down ever . And if my customers had a problem it was always sorted out. Please guys who r still sticking up 4 him after 6 months ( get real he is a lying thief ) if he really was gonna sort things out he wouldn't keep making false promises. He is leading people on to make him look good so he can keep running his business so the money keeps coming . Bet he hasn't got the guts to even reply to this message . I'll challenge him to reply to me after mr calling him A LYING THIEF. Let's see if he really cares about his reputation.

I do not disagree with your opinion, just the delivery.. calling Ash out on a forum is hardly going to have the desired effect, far from it. Ash has no obligation to post on here, none of the site owners do, we are just lucky with the other site owners.

I realy hope that your business never reaches a situation where you are unable to deliver for any reason - either personal or professional.

If ever had a problem with my business and was going to end up letting my customers down I can asure you I wouldn't be leading them on I would be honest and tell them straight. All I'm doing is speaking for the majority of people who have been knocked by ash. This a thread which I thought I would let people know that they arnt the only ones being taken for a ride. And quite frankly im not interested in going round his house . But if ash is still reading these threads( which I'm sure he us) I'm just seeing if the guy has a conscience. I deal with over a million pounds worth of sales a year, and often have to deal with situations way beyond my control - and it stresses me greatly as I like to give 100% support/service every time. For the most part thay are customers I have dealt with for many many years.

But I am realistic and know I cannot give 100% x 100% of the time and there are times where I have to take a step back and reevaluate the situation.

I am sure the decision by jon to demote RI wasnt taken lightly, although I am supprised a corresponding announcement wasnt made!!

I was one of Ash's very first customers and I am loyal, but we are judging this situation not just on Mr Clapham Omnibus but as a direct comparison to the FJ/Kudos quality of service.

They have set the bar very very high, and I see these 2 networks monopolising the scene soon which may or may not be a good thing.
