| Mr Baldy Chicken | The thing to do is not to sit and brood, but to get yourself into some sort of social situation. I don't know if you have any close friends who were not mutual friends but they could always do a bit of good for you, even if its just company. |

| Call me Ben .... | I'm with the people saying careful with the drink ... My one side of the family have huge drink problems and i have been told of some people who have also had problems - didn't drink before, and then became total alcoholics as a result, and a few drink related deaths too

| Mr Baldy Chicken | My one suggestion is to get yourself out of the flat and into some company... you are in an environment with far too many reminders, a change of scenery will do you good! |

| Free The Gadgets | Agree with Icks, get yourself into a social situation and try to do things to keep your mind busy. Have been in a similar situation before and the worst thing you can do is stay in by yourself. Getting out even if it's hard will help! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ash, so sorry mate. I can truly empathise with what you are going through right now... I got back together with the guy who shattered my world, but I gotta say things just weren't the same and a year later I broke off with him. I just never felt the same about him after how much he hurt me, and I thought I would never give myself so completely to anyone again for fear of being hurt again. How wrong I was. I hope you are happy again soon. Take care of yourself, and try to be with people who care about you. |

Thanks Alex, I don't resent Genna at all, if anything i feel stupid for taking her for granted, all i want in the world is to get back with her...but i won't know how i feel about it until i do get back with her, so here's hoping i get the chance.... Ash | |

| Call me Ben .... | Ash, i don't want to come across as a thoughtless pleb, but just wondering what is happening to the network at this moment in time? Are you taking an extended break from it (I understand if so). Just want it cleared up as i am awaiting a custom order and would like to know whether to just order it myself rather than wait a few more weeks or however long it might be? Cheers mate and hope you're feeling ok

![]() ![]() | Just read this too ash, sorry to hear that. A real shame. I know how hard it must be, but you can't let her have such control over your emotions. I'm sure she knows that you want her back but if it's likely to happen properly you can't come accross as if you need her (even though you feel like you do). You say that you've not seen any of your friends in ages, I'm sure you must have one (even if it's been a while) that you can meet for a few drinks and something to take your mind off things for a bit. You said recently you'd started running, I'd just try keep things like that up just any of these little distractions from the pain you're feeling. Hope your alright mate, I'm sure it'll get sorted. |

![]() | The exact same situation happened to me a few years ago and i was devastated, the girl in question was my world and i hadn't spoke to friends in ages, but when we broke i wanted the world to swallow me up... My best mate at the though cheered me up and got me out of the funk i was in and now i have a beutiful baby girl and an amazing g/f couldn't ask for better so in a way im happy that she broke my heart lol... Just keep looking to the future matey, don't look back |
