I feel cheated! :(

Right, so a while back, I got an iPod 5.5gen with RI. A while afterwards, I tried again on another of their sites, starting only with a few refs, having asked some friends and cousins to sign up. they did the lovefilm offer, but were never credited. I'm now trying again, on laptops.real-incentives, as a laptop would aid my studies and I can't afford one otherwise. so I have 4 people so far, 3 of which I know personally, and all of them have definately completed the lovefilm offer, up to about a month and a bit ago. yet none of them have been credited! why? what's going on? is it just me? my ref number is 49

Love film can take up to 28 days. Just submit a support ticket to find out why.

also, they have to actually rent a DVD during the trial.

there are loads of reasons why offers might not've credited.the main ones are:
cookies turned off
not completing offer properly, i.e cancelling before trial is up etc
but the main thing is to remember, that it isnt the networks fault, usually the advertiser or something went wrong.
if they havent received credit, submit a support ticket. ash (owner) is usually v.quick with answering tickets.

Its pointless submitting a ticket yourself you will need to get the people who you have referred to submit a ticket themselves.

Did the offers go to pending or not change at all? If they are pending, your referrals don't need to do anything and the offers will update automatically - this takes 28 days now. If their accounts still say 'not completed' get them to raise a support ticket to RI and Ash will fix it for them.

lovefilm "Love" to take the pee, 1st they change the crediting to 28 days, and then they change their rates. They need to either look at what they are doing or just close the dam program, as most people who think the freebie scene is a scam aint gonna feel no better when they have to wait 28 days.

As everyone else has said, simply get your referrals to contact us with their details. There's nothing much we can do until this happens...

As long as they provide their details correctly, and it doesn't look suspicious at all, they will get credited within a few days,

ok fair enough. but I did ask one of them to send a no credit report a couple of days ago, i don't know the number but his email is sam_strings@ somthing or other, and it still hasn't changed. could you check it up plz?

i Hope you get it sorted, i had to ring love film to get them to prove i had done enough to get my credit... as soon as i got my green i canceled the trial straight away, there BAD!

I completely agree. How can they justify making you wait 28 days when other advertisers complete within 14 days at the most, some within the hour! I have 4 lovefilm pending and, as monkeyegg stated, if its pending it will go green automatically but still, the free trial only lasts 2 weeks so they will know if you have done enough in this time so why a month to credit? Personally i think the networks should get together and make a stance and get them sorted out (baseball bats if need be lol).

I did the lovefilm offer months ago and i am still a member but for how much longer?

I don't think all this Lovefilm bashing is really justified. Their business is in DVD rentals, not giving people free money. The only reason they give the advertisers money for referring people is so that they can get more customers to use their DVD rental service. As the freebie scene has grown, imagine how many thousands of people have signed up to Lovefilm, received one DVD that hey had no intention of watching anyway then cancelled. Then Lovefilm paid "up to £17.50" for each of those people.
I don't see why people complain about it so much, you're getting FREE movies for a month (or however long the trial is now). If you were actually interested in the DVDs and you rang to cancel the trail for a legitimate reason then fair enough. But if your only intention was for the free stuff and Lovefilm make you wait a bit then you cant argue with that as you are abusing their service.

Point taken but what about those who completed it genuinely such as me? I completed a lot of the other offers before this one so it wasnt the FREE trial that interested me.
And if they have qualms about people cancelling within 14 days why offer the free trial at all? A bit of food for thought.
