as I've told ash a few times, I'm under 18 so i can't get one, if i give ash a deposit to make sure i don't go over or some extra refs or something do you think he would do it?

And i'm not in the best place with my parents right now, so thats out of the question

No feebie network would do this, it's too risky.
I'm not saying that you would, but for all they know you could just run up a huge bill after cashing in your greens and then they would be left to pay it.

Plus, if they let you then other would want to do it too and ash can't have loads of phone contracts to his name.

Most custom orders can be fulfilled by networks now, but only ones that are a one-off payment and can be shipped to you without them having any extra involvement afterwards.

why not just got for a payg phone with lots of credit ? for 37 refs i'm sure you could get a decent phone plus a fair few £10 top ups..

Re: contract phones

the only real danger of this is going over your limit for a month. I suppose at the end of the contract there would be problems he'd have to deal with too.

Re: contract phones

and?

I fail to see the need for a phone? I never answer mine anyway, it's always for a pointless conversation that could have waited til I next saw the person. People used to survive ok without them, get a load of refs and get something worthwhile like an xbox

Re: contract phones

I managed fine when I was 14 by actually talking to people face to face, and writing letters in the post to distant friends - a strange concept these days! (even worse when someone applied to me for a job and spelt phone on their CV as "fone")

No free gift site will give you a contract, to much risk involved for them, your only option if you want a contract phone would to be to pursade your parents you can afford it, and would'nt exceed a set amount on the bills, loose it, etc

Do people still have "pen friends" these days? I did and it took days to write, post it, with for them to read it, they reply, they post and I get it. Took days but thanks to the www and Mobile phones, I can now get an answer (usually "lol" or "yes") in seconds.
