Then, when it has been ordered, it changes to:

What my idea is to show the speed of your service, on each step (ordered, shipped etc) show the date and time that this was done.

Also, maybe we could receive a tracking number so we know when to be home?

hes saying he wants to know what time it was shipped as well as what time he ordered at etc. He also wants a delivery tracking code.

A lot of sites get items from amazon who sometimes send them "untracked" so no tracking code.

The site owners might not physically have enough time to keep checking to see when something they have ordered has then been shipped.
