![]() | Same IP addressHey i was wondering what the rules were on same IP addresses? It doesn't seem to say anything in the terms and conditions. It just 3 of my sign-ups all done it while in uni and one of my friends done it from my house! They all signed up with their own information and the only thing that would be similar would be the IP address, so there is nothing dodgy here. Anyone know the rules on it? |

| Mr Baldy Chicken | Re: Same IP addressip addresses are a bit funny... some streets can share it... it's worth checking with your freebie provider!! often same ip is treated as fraud.

![]() ![]() | Re: Same IP addressA general rule for all freebie sites (although I'm not sure how each network words their rules) is that you should not have anyone from your house signup, or have anyone signup using your own computer as this is seen as walking through and if not then it's seen as a multiple signup as though you were creating it.

![]() ![]() | Re: Same IP addressI can remember a network owner saying that it does not matter if you use the same ip! I think also, they said that they don't even check that either. Altho they do have very good methods at catching fraudsters! I think it was Tab from GA but, please don't take that for certain as it was a while back and i am getting on a bit now lol So...........you should be ok! Mak |
