spam from Real Incentives

I dont remember getting spam mail from this network before but I have now got 2 in 2 days from them.

Yes, I know how to unsubscribe but why dont we get an option whether we want this or not when we sign up?

I've not had any, and I'm signed up to Consoles, PVP and Mobiles. Possibly Apple too.

Re: spam from Real Incentives

You say that there is no option where you opt in to this, but i can say for a fact i never pressed a button to opt in for the spam from giveaway. I use a address where i get loads of spam to sign up to freebie sites anyway now so id not get this spam now.

We have teamed up with the advertising agency giveaway uses. So emails may seem similar to those recieved from that network.

Well, thats good to know.. but this part [giveawaynetwork.co.uk] sort gives it away that it was from the Giveaway network.. and I am sure if I receive one from you guys it will have Real-Incentive in it somewhere!

Also, I just had a look at and there is nothing informing anyone signing up or within the site to remove yourself from the mailing list, or anywhere in the T&C's that you will be receiving mails from a third party/advertisement.. and for some reason I can not seem to find your Privacy Policy page either..

Or am I to tired and just missed the link somewhere?!?!?

Re: spam from Real Incentives

I've had several from Ash (Tindal).

Not sure how potential referrals would view them though. If they were undecided about signing up and then got spammed, it may just make their mind up.

The fact that spam advertising is needed at all is another indicator to me that referral income is down.

Not at all.

Email listings are part of a contract we have with an advertising agency we'l soon be advertising with.

It did at first, as im sure with other networks as well.

But its not the case anymore. The method died about 2 months ago, its been a while, people have found new methods
