On the LOVEFiLM side of things Biker, that certainly crossed my mind. Not sure if Ash/Dunstan could comment but would be interested to hear what they think?

As frustrating as the wait has been and with the benefit of hindsight, they certainly made the right decision to slow down verifications/sending gifts etc. They would be out of business if they hadn't

Well its a hell of a lot worse than the last refusals, only lost 2 of my 14 on consoles last time. But 4 out of 6 is a bummer alright

Reading through it seems like lovefilm must have been a lot stricter in this update

Well, i guess that's 'The Method' for you! Unreliable in the end!

Now the horrible wait for apple to be done! I really want that Â£500!

but my account still says verifying.
Ash/Dunstan: any chance that once you've finished putting people on hold on the apple one, if I still have more than needed then you could move 3 over to my consoles one?

you're accounts will still show verifying until we manually check your referral count (without holds) against your chosen gift. You will then either be verified or simply taken off verification.

I lost 6 out of 12 on mine. I would like to know one thing with regards to this verification thing. Is it just Lovefilm that gets checked once a month or do the other offers have something similar? Reason I'm asking is that I need just one more referral and rather than do Lovefilm and wait a month for that one credit to be checked out, I'm wondering if I can do another offer, say one of the bingo ones or the Fasthosts offer, and have the credit for that checked out and verified in a much quicker timespan. This way I would be able to get verified for my gift much quicker hopefully and then receive it much quicker. Can I do this or will I just have to wait around til next month even though it wouldn't be a Lovefilm offer that is being done? How often do RI verify accounts??

Can i ask which were the last referral numbers to be included in this report? Just to get an idea of what proportion of my referrals have been checked over. Not many I expect! Only lost one so far...

Noticed the "you will only be credited once the first dvd is dispatched", when was this put up?

To be hounest, I think lovefilm's time is up, the wasted time and effort that we and the freebie sites have put in is completely unessesary considering there is another offer that is FAR less hassle.

Seriously tho I'm really grateful to Lovefilm - they've made up the bulk of my greens so far in my freebie career. Wouldn't like to write them off just yet! As long as our referrals play by the rules then there's no real problem.

One of the other network owners was talking about the report coming out later in the month so that they could do a further verification in January.
