i use seo techniques that dont leave footprints
the sites wont be number 1 for ever and could drop there rankings any day. so i just make the most of it while it lasts.

Trev, who's your domain/hosting with? And I have a few domains with 123reg but they are forwarding only so this would effect the google rank.
Oh and you're nowhere on a google search for 'iPod Classic', its jsut because you have a good domain name. Who really is going to search for free ipod classic?

you would be surprised, i have people searching stuff like "free ipod referral scheme, refer Friends" and my site comes up ??

i get around 33 people a day that search for free ipod classic
and around 5 of them go on to signup.
and out of the 30 signups a week i get 1 to 2 greens

you target the keyword ipod classic and you dont know what the searcher is after. Are they looking for infomation , do they want to buy one ,
you dont know your audience.
so you cant go wrong with targeting the keyword free ipod classic.
they find your site and your giving them what they want.

i ran a advert for the keyword ps3 on google
saying get a free ps3
and the click to signup ration was disgusting so much so that if i had continued to run the campaign i would have spent more money that it would have cost me to buy one in the shop.
but for the keyword free ps3 the click to signup ratio was over 50%
ps3 might get say 30,000 searches a month
were as free ps3 gets maybe 4,000
but i know which keyword would get me the more greens overall.

Now they are proper funny searches

just out of interest, how long did it take to generate all the behind the scenes SEO work, did you have some kind of script to do it all for you or did you do it manually?

2 hours work tops my side.
i have scripts software and every seo ebook and black hat book known to man
and ive read a lot of em.

free xbox 360 is probable the best one as its 1st out of over 132 million other sites targetting that keyword including dialaphone and freepay and amazon.

but i would be lieing if i said the domain name didnt play a big part in that also.

can someone please help me get my last few greens from interclickz because i have been trying over a year now to get the magical 14 greens but cannot seem to get that many. but others out there have got over 100 for each website and im only asking for a little help.

Unfortunately I don't think it's as easy as that. People will only tell you to have a read around the forum and pick up your own tips and idea, of which there are plenty!
