Anyone received stuff from Xpango?

Hi. I would like some advice on Xpango from those that can provide it.

What was the waiting time like on crediting greens? Was it as stated, or shorter/longer on average?

What was the support like? Helpful/prompt or slow/unhelpful?

How long did gifts take to be delivered?

How long did verification take?

I ask because, the Xpango section on this site has a few complaints, people hardly ever post there and I can't remember the last I saw a trade for someone wanting Xpango greens, so I need to know whether it is worth bothering starting up.

Thanks for any help.

I think they are brilliant.
You can do multiple offers in order to get credits, I have used them 3 times now. Always had my questions answered and crediting/delivery has always been quick.
But there are quite a few complaints on here?

Re: Anyone received stuff from Xpango?

Well there are a few, it seems a little unreliable allied to the fact few trades occur for them as well as few people discussing them, it would make it seem not many trade on that site, which is never a good thing.

I have also looked at a review of them from Gimme4free and it reads as follows....

Quote:
Cons:
• Website is hard to navigate.
• Takes slightly longer than average for completed offers to be credited.
• Requires approx. double the amount of credits for free gifts.
• Products for sale are overpriced.
• Clix gain little to no credits.
• Unreliable for granting credits on completed offers.
• Customer service is extremely poor.
This alarms me. It has its benefits, but I'm very sceptical as I'm new to this whole freebie thing and I can't be arsed with a potential 6-month saga which is why I would like people on here to comment so I can reach a consensus.

Feasibly, I could get enough greens for an xbox in a week, and you know what they say about things being too good to be true....

Re: Anyone received stuff from Xpango?

Wel Lucaio, I looked at the offers and I can get the credits I want for what I want very easily myself. It's the other questions I need answers to, as they are the most important part of a network. If I complete my credits in a week, I don't want to be waiting a month, or six months for my stuff. I see PSblackTVR has been waiting donkey's years for his credits.

So, anyone have anything to add to the queries ain my post?

Thanks.

I got my Wii, had my ups and downs with them... but I will carry on using them... now I know what to expect. For a first time user it was frustrating, but I now know that support will take a while, credits may take a while, clix are not allthey are cracked up to be (although I had a better experience 1st time around witha 250 than with the subsequant 350)

Go for it, what do you have to worry about...!! It is not as if any of this wil take you by suprise!!

Fair point icks, and thanks. It's just when you're doing an offer and it takes ages to cleart, you're always fearful, I'm not sure if I'm up for a long drawn out process.

Anyone else dealt with Xpango?

Re: Anyone received stuff from Xpango?

I'm still dealing with them, although I was hoping to be finished by now. I've been waiting two months for 5 credits from a Barclays Home Insurance offer - I keep being told it will be sorted out "next week" but next week never comes. If you're looking for a site that lets you do offers yourself for freebies why not just wait until Shop.Giveaway is launched?

Will shop.ga have similar gifts (ipods, ps3 etc)? I never understood the concept of it, although to be fair I never really read the thread on it properly.

I think so. I'm pretty sure you can have a look around it now at Shop.Giveaway.co.uk - Try sponsored offers, collect free gifts! although you can't register at the moment without an invitation.

There is a competition in extra, which Jon posted a little while ago *cough* hurry up and announce the winners *cough*

Anyone else care to chip in? Xpango, perhaps you could sell me.

What offers traditionally, on your site clear the quickest? Track the best? How often is verification?

Re: Anyone received stuff from Xpango?

Well as you have already said, I've been waiting what seems like a lifetime for some of my credits! They are also not very good at answering support tickets, in my opinion. I have one outstanding now for 3 weeks regarding my outstanding credits

I'm sure they must be busy etc as they deal with customers from almost anywhere in the world (I think) but it does seem like they're taking extra long over the credits that will fulfill my order. But that could just be my suspicious nature

I would recommend them due to the fact that you can do all the offers yourself and they do change their offers regularly, too. All I would say though is check around the forums before doing any offers with them to see how they are crediting at the time!! Just for info the credits I'm waiting on are no longer on the site (The Business Magazine and Play65).

Cheers PSBVTR. I also have other other concerns.

What are the best offers on there? The ones that clear the quickest? Which ones should I avoid?

Re: Anyone received stuff from Xpango?

At the moment I can't answer the last 2 questions as I haven't done an offer on there for a while coz I'm waiting for my outstanding ones to credit first. With regards to what offers are on the site, there is just far too many to list, I'd estimate in the region of about 30 offers, give or take
