I think a lot of the criticisms of giveaway have been justified recently, however I think if they're advertising a free PS3, and the ones they get come with games, they're entitled to sell the games as they've supplied the PS3 as promised (well they haven't just yet, but fingers x'd they will for you guys).

As Tomm86 said above, if the xbox 360 ones have a do not resell celophane wrapper, they have to supply it with the console, but if the PS3 ones don't have that, then I think it's fair enough that they're being sold on. But then it's also a valid point that i'm not waiting for a PS3

There are plenty of those "DO NOT RESELL" ones in my local Game. Not sure if thats legit or not.

Was also thinking, chances are that tab might have had to buy the PS3 as part of a bundle from his supplier, which would obviously be more expensive than a PS3 on its own. so he stuck the games on ebay to make some money back.

remember that sony 'dictate' that each PS3 much be sold with 1.5 games, my guess is either:
-the ps3's were brought with the games, with the games being sold seperatly to cover costs
-All ps3's were brought with 1.5 games, and the .5's are all being sold on ebay and maybe this month all PS3 orders will get a free game (perhaps Tab could be in a better mood with there being less personal insults?)
-maybee some games were recieved with the ps3's but not enough to go with 1 free per order so just being sold speratly

but at the end of the day does it really matter?? alot of the network owners do have other business's etc this could well be some stock overlap from one of them.

no, a free game would be deseriable, but you cant really go around and say you should "get a game"

I don't see the people who are geting amazon vouchers this week demanding a extra £40 in vouchers to pay for a game just because they have been waiting since January.

Like I said, I dont blame tab if he's selling the games that came with the console and people should remember that if he didnt get games with the consoles, there would be no consoles last time.

he probably made a bigger loss getting the bundles so I dont grudge him selling excess games to try and get some cash back, even if it means I dont have a game to play

(1) It's Ebay, there are tonnes of "not for resale" games on there (look for Xbox360 PES6)!! Everyone does it

(2) Nice as it would be to get the games with the PS3's if he had to pay more for the bundle than he received through the greens then it is only fair he resell them himself.

If people want a game for the PS3 why not buy them from him through Ebay?? I'm guessing it will be cheaper than the shops and at least you know who they came from!!

This would be nice but this is usually down to whatever offers the suppliers are doing and after all, we sign up for a free PS3 or Wii or whatever so any game is a welcome bonus if it comes.

It's all down to luck really. How many times have you maybe bought a console only to see the same console the week later for sale with a free game or reduced?

Just checked my nextgen axccount to see what the stock levals are like, still out of stock

I did notice that i have had 5 new folk go pending. that will me be on 20 greens if they go thro!!! Thats what £140 for tab!! I know thats how the system works, but a small part of me feels like I deserve a game, lol.
