Avoid Real Incentives.

Hi all,

In mid November I found the Real-Incentive network, this was because I was looking for something on eBay. I register and completed the lovefilm credit which in this part of November mentioned nothing about dispatching a DVD to become credited. I got credited for this offer within the next 2 days.

Over a week I referred a total of 35 people and out of which 8 went green. I started verification for the paypal option 120GBP.

It appears well over 20 business days later that my account is on hold because "I didn't dispatch a DVD." Nothing along these lines was mentioned when I went into verification and there is no chance of me getting my item now or being allowed to use this site again, if I did, apparently I would be banned (T&C).

So, basically don't use this network because:

-They change their offers half way through.
-They don't reply to support tickets.

-Their MSN for support doesn't seem to ever be online.

Fortunately being a member here I was able to read all the posts about what was going on with this network, I feel very sorry for all the other people who are in the same boat and are leaving support tickets asking as to why their accounts are suspended, but with no response.

That is the most unneccessary bad publicity Aarkvard.

Being a site owner myself i can tell you now that all sites suffered from LOVEFiLMs cancellations.

They did not make it clear exactly what makes a free trial acceptable by their standards and as such all freebie networks have suffered.

Real-Incentives by no means are a bad network and are renowned for their quick response times and good overall service.

Every freebie network put users on hold when the LOVEFiLM cancellations came in so don't single out one site and say they're bad.

Re: Avoid Real Incentives.

We dont appreciate the bad publicity this is going to cause.

We have already said that support tickets are gettin replied to as soon as possible. Over the xmas and new year period, everyone has been busy, including us.

in regards to lovefilm - every site owner puts their users on hold. We cannot be leniant in these situations.

We have been very busy over the past few days trying to do our usual work along with the refusals and verification procedures.

Im sorry that you have had a bad experience with us,

Ash

And just to clarify for a free trial to be accepted the customer must recieve at least one rental dvd. If they didn't the trial is declined. This means the site isn't paid for referring you meaning they can't pay for your gift.

This is a busy time for all incentivized sites so yuo must be patient, i'm sure you will get a reply to your support ticket

I am locking this thread and am considering deleting it.

You can not possibly believe that signing upto the trial does not involve receiving a DVD. That is not using the trial.

Be serious, that post does more harm to you than it does to Real-Incentives.

They have changed the text to make it obvious now as it seems some people lack the common sense to use the free trial! "Try the free trial" Creating an account without receivng a DVD, how is that trying the trial.

Sorry for repeating myself lol, just this post has wound me up!

Rubbish! pure rubbish!

The giveaway network have posted today they don't place people on hold for not completing a offer (with the exception being if any fraud was to take place) I know for a fact that the other main UK sites don't place people on hold for not completing a offer (again unless fraud is involved) and from my knowledge even the big USA networks don't to this (again unless fraud is involved)

If you want your network to have a future place in eXceem you really need to start acting alot more professionally & respectfully.

i think you've misunderstood. All the lovefilm reversal accounts that we've had have been placed on hold - obviously for fraudulently completing an offer. That is what is meant.

Well said Jon.

I tried to post exactly the the same thing Jon but the thread was locked, I also mentioned it in Tabs thread explaining the lovefilm situation. Also matkavs back in november there were no instructions explaining that people had to actually take out a DVD so to now slag off all users who did not is a bit hypocritical im my opinion.

Re: Avoid Real Incentives.

How can you say they are all for fraudulently completing a offer?

What if someone changed their mind? What if someones wife told them off for doing it?

None of the other networks place people on hold for not completing a offer, unless fraud is involved

I think it is a bit unfair putting people on hold for not doing an offer properly. Some may not have known, and may want to complete another offer!

Re: Avoid Real Incentives.

I'm sorry guys, but I am also starting to doubt this Incentives network.

I'm worried I may not even pass through verification for my Wii, due to all this Lovefilm stuff.

As you can see I have received many gifts from these referral sites, but never, ever had anyone put on hold on ANY of my accounts.

I also think that it is very funny that many as soon as this network opens, that many people's accounts go on hold for offer fraud (lovefilm).

I can guarantee that giveawaynetwork.co.uk would never do any thing like this from my past experiences with them.

We will all soon be having to have twice, maybe 3 times as many referrals to get past the verification stage.

Re: Avoid Real Incentives.

Hi,

it looks like we've gone about these reversals all wrong, and i apolgise for the inconvenience.

We will make amendments to those on hold, and then start over, to remove the credits from the accounts, from there, they will be able to complete another offer.

Again, i apologise,

Ash

Re: Avoid Real Incentives.

Sorry, criticism not aimed at you Ash if you re-read you will see, was intended for another person.

Also I agree with what Biker said, from now on there will be no excuses but up until January there was no instruction explaining that users needed to take out a DVD as part of the free trial, it may have been a little foolish of them but there will be some users who have simply made a mistake, to put them on hold does seem a little heavy handed.

edit: read the above post, good to see

Try the free trial = receiving a dvd, signing up and cancelling is not trying the site, its service etc. Do they really need to put you have to receive a DVD to gain credit, i'm sorry just thought that would be a given?

Hypocritical, I think not. Stupid to think you could get away with it, yes. That is my opinion. I am not saying anymore on the subject, my opinions have been expressed.

And I do think that putting users on hold is to far and they should be allowed to complete another offer as they incorrectly completed the 1st one.

Can I just point out that a friend of mine got his gift as a referral as mine and has since been put on hold? He went on his account and found he had 3 out of the 9 referrals he needed to get his item. He got his iPod a good month back too! I like this network, but you oughtta be more careful!

Re: Avoid Real Incentives.

I am pretty confident it said 'sign up to the free trial', to say sign up does not at all point out that a DVD needs to be recieved.
I agree that people should certinally take out a DVD and not doing so is a little foolish but I genuinly believe that there are at least some people out there who signed up and thought they had done enough to complete the offer, especially if there are people out there advertising 'sign up and cancel' like I have seen in many ebay listings.

It's good to see that you have decided to go back and reactivate all the accounts that have been put on hold for just completing Lovefilm wrongly.

I would just like to ask if it were possible for the text beside their name to read something like "User has 0 offer credits and 1 declined credit" so as we know which ones have been green at some stage? I know this may require a bit of extra coding or something but it would be a lot better in the long run.
