XBox 360 vs PS3

Xbox 360 just because that Bill Gates owns it! jk. PS3 has more features but Xbox 360 has better gaming experience.

I disagree, PS3s have better graphics so they obviously deliver a better gaming experience.

I love the Xbox 360, I have a PS3 too but I don't enjoy playing it half as much as the X360.

My one got RROD and it was out of warranty so I bought the new S 250gb console for £199.99 with FIFA 12 and Forza 4 from Argos, thought that was a really good deal.

I like the X360 because it has these little features that the PS3 doesn't have, like playing music during games, party chat etc.

I don't like paying for Gold though.

Really? I have both and don't notice any difference whatsoever when I'm playing.

The difference is quite small, but it is there. Usually it isn't noticeable.

You wouldn't notice it on games that are ported for both consoles, game developers aren't going to make the graphics again just for a different console.

You notice the difference in PS3 exclusive games like Killzone and Gran turismo.

xbox for me, none of my friends have a ps3, i can't stand the ps3 controllers just cannot use them, better games on arcade and better exclusives, i needs me my gears of war

I said PS3.

I liked the ps2 so i bought a ps3. i wanted a blu ray player when it came out and watch it on the new TV that my family had. also, a lot of the games were going to come out on the ps3 that i wanted, ie final fantasy. i could also play BC games that i had from my ps2, effectively making my library massive.

also the 360 had issues with RROD at the time with no possible fix apart from opening it up so i didnt wanna go down that path.

all that means nothing now, since it the 60GB BC got stolen. Thanks to FJ i can keep playing ps3. if i didnt get it from FJ i would have just not bought one to conserve money and help with final year uni studies lol.

not sure about that.

its just that at the time, back in 2008 something i think, the YLOD wasnt much of a big deal compared to RROD. so i felt it was the better choice. i still think so now.

My friend fixed his on his old 80GB PS3, we opened it together and did something, was a while ago now.... unfortunately before we got round to fixing the YLOD, turns out we broke the blu-ray drive inside it... he cbf so just bought a slim. used the blu rays laser to make... a laser I believe :P

Xbox 360, only because I don't have a ps3 and most my mates have xbox anyway. Though paying gold membership is a pain.

I personally own a PS3 , it has the blue ray player and is free to play online but in Xbox 360 its not free though you get some benefits and the exclusive games like GOW 3 and Uncharted then Infamous and Motorstorm are really awesome games for PS3 but they are not for the Xbox 360

I own both consoles however over the years have drifted more towards my Xbox 360 and there are many reasons for this, the main one being with regards to playing online I feel there is a better experience on the Xbox and it is much easier to use even though you have to pay for it. Personally more of my friends are on Xbox live rather than psn which is another reason why I have drifted more towards my xbox.

The Ps3 has became more of just a blu ray player for me so unless you desperately want to be playing any of the ps3 exclusive games, I personally believe Xbox is the better option!
