| Mr Baldy Chicken | I don't know what Canadian consumer law is, but after 18 months I would certainly be in discussion with the manufacturer. But with the Canadians being such nice polite people, consumer law probably says just apologise to the manufacturer and buy a new one!!

| Mr Baldy Chicken | I would certainly go down the customer service route..... there is the SADFART law in this country (google it) I would say 18months is unreasonable for laptop life, although you want to hope it has an international warranty!!

| Mini Mac | LOL And also I have a price limitation here, as my parents are already unhappy about my laptop breaking after only a short 1.5 years of use. Their laptops have lasted for at least 3 years, so they think the problem is with me. Plus, I need it for school, so I need one quickly. The new MacBook Air would be nice. |
