Over the past 12 months my kettle has slowly fallen to bit and I have to pour a cuppa with an oven glove (been doing that for 3 months)

Do I spend a hard earned green on a new kettle or save it for some thing cool but not essential

Greens are a luxury that should be used to luxury items. You can get a cheap kettle from Asda or somewhere, all it does is boil water so an expensive one is not required.
