I think it would depend on tne price of the iphone. if it was less than £400 i'd go for the £400 and buy the iphone with a little monies left over.

Jmanizzle is on a distinguished road
I'd take the cash, you could get a good phone for like £200? Do you really need an iPhone? £200 phone + Moneys for fun is a way better deal.

If you take the money and buy a cheaper phone you'll get bored of it pretty quick and will want to buy another one..

I don't think i'll go back to a normal phone after having the iphone, theres nothing on the market that beats it (imo).

Depends if the iPhone 4G could be jail broken, otherwise i would chose the HTC if it ran Android 2.2 With Sense UI

samac92 will become famous soon enough
No one knows anything about the price of the 4G yet, but I have the Desire and it is a great phone, and on T Mobile you can get it for £157 with a £15 a month contract (unlimited texts, unlimited internet and 100 minutes) so it's far cheaper that way than the iPhone.

Though I would say the Nexus One is a better choice than the Desire because HTC have removed stuff and replaced it with their Sense UI crap, and they stop updating their phones quite quickly. (Their last flagship phone was the Hero which is still running 1.6, when the newest software is 2.2!) The Desire is currently stuck on 2.1.

The Nexus One is the same phone as the Desire (both made by HTC) but all updates come straight from google so you'll always have the latest software.

But wait till the 4G comes out, (in about a week it will be announced) then decide.

iPhone 4GS? What is that .....

I'd have the iPhone 4, sell it on ebay for around £800-£1000, buy an iPhone 4 from Apple for just £500ish. Sweet

The one before has a bid of £751 and a feedback of 128. I saw one go for around £1,050, but that was around the day after if was released.
