I prefer the PC.

Mac might be good if they didn't overprice everything they sell.

Having grown up on Windows I wouldn't want to have to jump back into the learning curve with a Mac. I fiddle with everything I own. (Ahem!) I often end up using programs which are very small projects and difficult to find - with a Mac that would be even harder. I feel that with a PC I can dig in and get my hands dirty and change stuff about, whereas when I use a Mac I don't get that feeling.

That's why I have an Android phone above others as well. The customisability is intense!

i have grown up on PCs and currently own a PC but i work on Macs, (knowing how to operate both fairly well). Seeing both sides of the argument i have to say....

Snave has a spectacular aura about
PC all the way for me.

I've never really understood the argument that Mac's are better for design stuff, Photshop etc. It's the same program I'm using on Windows so why would it be any better on a Mac?!

Re: mac / pc

Pc for me... Mainly because the keyboard is set up properly an not the confusing way a mac is!!

I do like macs, but would just take me ages to get used to. Plus I could easily build a PC, but never a mac! Their too much like Alice in Wonderland: style over content!

PC ftw.

- Gaming
- Better Compatibility
- Better bang for the buck (cheaper)
- Better programming experience
- If you know how to maintain your PC and not download malicious software then your PC will remain as good as new

If I was loaded with referrals I would get a Mac though =) primarily because I'd like to start Objective-C/Cocoa programming and want to know what the Mac experience is like.
