Favourite Call of Duty Campaign?

Well I have to say, I started playing W@W this morning, and what a pile crap.

I played Modern Warfare 1 and it was awesome, but this is utter utter rubbish, never have I been so dissapointed with a game in my life. I held back from buying it when it first came out, and have been waiting for ages for it to be a reasonable price, and now I wish I hadn't bothered

I'm the same.

I was disappointed with W@W campaign and multiplayer to be honest. Never really got into it and always hated the dogs online.

MW was by far the best for campaign as it was the best by a long shot.

MW2 was ok but I felt a bit lost with the story and didn't realise I had completed the game until half way through the credits. The ending was a bit weak and I expected a fair bit more.

I only really buy these games for the multiplayer as their lifespan is limitless really until the next one comes out.

If I could give any feedback to Infinity Ward it would be don't make a new game, just make new maps for online.

I'd much rather see some amazing maps come out than a half assed campaign mode that has been rushed and features quite a lot of the same style of missions as the last one.

I agree with these points.
Felt like they rushed MW2s Campaign because they knew regardless of what they did, the game would sell.

Defo cod4 campain, then mw2 campain, waw was crap!

I agree with beezer, I didn't realise i'd completed mw2, it was so sudden and the story line was a bit of a mess, i didn't know what was going on the amount of times you die in it! lol

Remember back in the day, when people bought and played games for FUN...

There's been a few games with around as many hours, but they were still FUN

I also think it's a little bit stupid to not put some games on the list because you haven't played them, It's like making a list of Final Fantasy games, missing out I IV and V just because you haven't played them.

Yes, i do remember when people played games for fun and thats why im putting MW2s Campaign down because for me it wasnt fun.

Also,when i made this thread, I thought it would be obvious that it was about the CODs for this generation of consoles.

Too short and the missions were boring.
And i didnt know COD3 came out on Xbox 360.

Cod 2 was the best, both campaign and MP. COD4 was a good storyline, closely followed by COD3, then MW2. WaW was terrible in every aspect, a failure and a disgrace to the Call of Duty series!

The first NZ was rubbish after a few plays, took too long to get exciting and even then, it wasn't that exciting.
