I'm from London so I can honestly say no

I find it great how there's always something to do. The crime etc is a down point, but I still think it's a great place to live

If you live in a scummy part of London of course it will be bad. London is a big place, my misses lives in Chingford and I think its a great place

I would hate to live in London, I have been living in Luton now for about 4 months and I even hate here, I live in a nice area and next to a park etc but I miss being able to drive 5 mins to the beach, marina, countryside back in Ireland

It's only when I came over here that I really appreciate how lucky I was to have that as it would take a hell of a long drive just to see the ocean from where I am now.

Everyone is just extremely ignorant all of the time, and especially when you get into London, everyone just walks through you, even if your standing still! Not to mention it being so expensive! The best thing about London is everything that's available to do, but that doesn't really matter much when your paying £600 rent, Tax, Council Tax, Water Bills, Groceries etc, it doesn't leave much cash to go do all the expensive things in London, even traveling into London costs me and the missus £35, not to mention paying over the odds for food in there etc.

Although I have never lived in London, I can honestly say I would hate to ever live there, I don't want to spend my life in a rat race

Believe me, London isn't that bad a place to live in. Mostly, it's just the press giving all the teenagers a bad name with gun crime etc. I live in South London, and have never been mugged myself, although I know some of my friends who have.

london is moooooosive, if you live east end side then yes its prob a ****hole but west north far south are good.

one thing i have noticed when i working in/around london people are very ignorant and dont seem to have the time of day for anyone.
