Me and my gf have talked about this, but decided against as we'll end up being too much on top of each other and it could get annoying not having our own space for now. We got our placement years atm, but may change our minds for final year.

I'd say macbook, or give both a trial!

Yeah I'm 22.
She's got a job down in Edinburgh and I'm about 3 hours up the road.
We've done a year apart already with me travelling down once a week to see her.

I moved in with my girlfriend when I was about 22 and it was cool. The only thing was that we did kind of get on top of each other (and I mean that in the always around each other way

). It was great going out to dinner, pubs etc and coming back together without needing to say goodbye at the end of the night too.
Would I do it again? Hmm, I might be tempted to live on my own a bit longer but then hindsight is wonderful because thinking about it I used to miss her like crazy when I didn't see her for a while.

Christ, reading that back isn't easy is it!! I'm not entirely sure what my advice is now.

I do actually say go for it, Wendy moved 250 miles to live with me!! Then 2 years later we both moved back down here together! 10 years now!
