Dubbed or subtitles??

I just cannot watch anything that has been dubbed over. I find it waaay too cheesy and so i always have to have subtitles, which i dont mind at all (if its a good film u dont even notice ur reading subs)

But i know there is a market for dubbed stuff so what do ppl think?

A film with either in is not for me. Cant stand either. But it would have to be dubbed if I had to chose one.

I rememberd watching a spanish film with english subtitles....4th floor or something it was called, by the end of the film I didn't even realise I was reading words off the screen, I could have sworn I was fluent in Spanish

by the way; very touching film, really worth watching

Subtitles any day. I think they make you concentrate on the film much better because you have to keep reading the words

Watched 'Oldboy' the other day, recommended by the icks (cheers ) and it's amazing! REC (which is spanish) is really good too

Subtitles.
(Unless its a Japanese King Kong or Godzilla remake, which it should be dubbed all the way!)

Yeah, I've got Ichi the Killer, I think that's a bit like Marmite though, but I just love the over the top stuff (like Kill Bill).

I can't believe no one has mentioned the legend that is "Monkey"

dubbed and fantastic because of that.

Start now seriously ur missing out. Some of the best films Ive ever seen are foreign language. You should really like City Of God, not sure if you'll like Amelie yet as your quite young so probably anything sweet or romantic wont be ur cup of tea.
