i dont think its wrong to talk to people through legitimate networking sites about freebies, i do think its a bit exploitative to talk dirty to a desperate guy and get him to sign up o the promise of getting more from you.

if you are doing that its fraud, but if you're not then its ok.

But as Schism says, don't we mislead everyone who we get to sign up to a greater or lesser extent?

I mean do you give them full disclsosure as to just how much time and effort is required to get a freebie? Do you explain that if they or their sign ups make innocent mistakes they may not get their gift, or may have it delayed siginificantly?

The freebie scene is difficult to newbies and full of potential pitfalls. Unless you are completely explicit about this to your greens surely you are misleading them? Is this type of misleading OK?

If so then where do you draw the line between the two?

If not, then I would be amazed to see your method!!

Fair comment, but I dont really think you are misleading people if you tell them they can get a free playstation3 for example, because they can get a free playstation 3, really its up to them to read and follow the rules like it is our own responsibilty to.

If you are blatently lying to someone saying that you are a hot chick when in fact (if it was me) you are a fat man, then i think this is wrong.

You've received stuff right? Everyone here has exploited people to an extent...

Anyone that's used eBay or Amazon has abused both those companies, and also the traders that are selling the items that you are advertising for free because they are potentially losing customers thanks to you... and what's my response? F*** 'em, it's harsh world with lots of competition. Someone that's gagging for a girl to go on webcam and show a little bit of flesh will get excited thinking that it's a real girl at the other end, good for them, and good for you, you've got a free green, and they've got a 'good time'.

If you're morally conscience about the freebie scene, then it's not the place for you.

Personally, i will admit i've done it once before, and so have a lot of exceemers i know of, i didn't like it (so never really done it again after first attempt at it) but it got me a couple of greens and it made me realise how many pervs there are out there who try to make you do anything to make you take your top of etc.! As said i won't do it again because i feel very uncomfortable misleading people etc. but it gives a very interesting insight to what some guys are like.

There is a clear difference between the freebie scene in general and something like this.

If you put an ad on ebay or Amazon, you are inviting people to sign up for you. Giving them the information about getting a product free and letting them decided whether they want to try it.

Getting people to sign up in order to see a show, people who are perhaps signed up to a site because they're too shy to meet people in person or because they're too busy to go clubbing with no promise of anything is completely different. You are imho taking advantage or that person.
