Personally I don't see the point in Blu-ray at all... also, who gives a sh*t about the system specs if it plays well and there's a better all-round experience?

Most people don't even have TV's good enough to see the difference between all these different formats - lol.

And the XBox is better, it's a PC in a small overheating box tweaked to the max.

The problem with these "polls" and "discussions" is that sooner or later it comes to the "PS3 is crap" or "xbox is crap". And the usual fanboys defending their consoles as if life defended on it.

The thing is, both machines are superb and we the players are the big winners.

The PS3 just has everything the 360 has plus more, name something the 360 has which ps3 dusnt, u cant say online play, becuase they're nothing wrong with the playstation network, if u find it hard to use then you have problems (plus you dont have to pay a ridiculous amount of money to use it, and its not like thats a one off subscription).
You cant say the selection of games either because the PS3 is just getting into its stride now and its getting some great games.

On PS3 you've got a guarantee that every machine is going to have a hard-drive and, with Blu-ray, you've got plenty of storage, whereas on Xbox 360 there's no guarantee of a hard-drive and the developers are only working with the DVD format.

I just like the PS3 and the great thing is i'm not a fanboy becuz i've had allll the consoles

Lol - they don't randomly decide whether or not they put a hard drive in an XBox mate, you decide whether you want one or not... and £27 for a whole year is not a ridiculous amount of money at all.

So one thing a xbox has more over the ps3 is that there will be less kids on xbox because you have to pay

I suppose a fanboy would probably answer that by saying that why should you have to pay £27 for a service which is free on the PS3?

Ok, it might deter kids (although mummy and daddy will probably feel forced into buying it) but it will also deter people with only the 1 or 2 games who dont think its worth it.

At least with a PS3, if you only have the 1 game, you can play online and for free.

I didny say they were randomly assigned hard drives, what i'm saying is that developers know all ps3's have a hard drive so in the future they can make games where by they know they can use the hard drive of the ps3 if needed, not all 360's have a hard drive so developers cant make games which wud need the help of a hard drive becuz the ppl with the arcade version wudnt be able to by the game, thats my theory anyway
