Ok, with a 2 green conga more people will complete but ultimately it will go stale.

This depends what people want from the congas - a quick fix or longevity.
People should stop looking at congas as a way of completing a site and rather as just a bit of help for themselves and the community

if a sizable majority want 2 green congas then that will be taken into account, but since there are over 200 active exceem members around atm and only 50 odd have voted anything could happen

Yeap just voted. I think one green is better...with 2 greens it takes too long and like a lot of people have said I think they will just grind to a halt like before if it's 2 greens!

With one green it's a quick and easy green!!

if you have two greens this is how the conga would look:

1 requires sign ups 2 and 3
2 requires sign ups 4 and 5
3 requires sign ups 6 and 7
4 requires sign ups 8 and 9
5 requires sign ups 10 and 11
6 requires sign ups 12 and 13
7 requires sign ups 14 and 15.


who would sign up in place number 15, knowing it would take another 16 people to sign up before they get their greens (and guarenteed No-one would sign up as number 31 to help out number 15, so they would never see any greens form it!)

with two line congas more people loose out than benefit, so its basically screwing over our own members, which doesnt really seem in keeping with the Exceem ethos surely!

i know we all want quick greens and we want easy ways to get a few sign ups, but surely not at the expense of other members! a conga sould be just that a conga, a line, where each person holds on tot he one in front and is in ture held on to one behind!!

as always, just ym two cents worth!!

exactly, there is no, 'i've gone green, but you havn't, why arent you getting a move on' type angst, and its all for one site, so everyone who wants that item knows where to go to sign up, and that they, in turn will get a green from it.

like Haerandal says, the results are the same but it can just go on and on.


FurbtasticM, would you sign up as number 15 on a conga, knowing you were giving someone else a green but that you were very unlikely ever to get one yourself?

besides, its just my opinion, i can only vote once in the poll, i'm just stating the facts of the mathematics of the whole thing, there is no need for name calling is there!
