Id say turtle! I was looking to get just a ormal box turtle! THey are more active and easier to look after than others!

well i lost.. the gf got her way and we've now got a hamster.. which has p*ssed me off as it cost me £70 in the end, which if i'd have looked around i recon i could have got the turtle for just a bit more.. i'll post pics later, if anyone's interested lol

yup, the hamster will be fun seeing as they usually only come out at nights.

And, seeing as you're doing night shifts, you probably wont see the little thing all week lol.

in the pet shop by me they're £36 and i was quoted £136 for just the kit.. but if you can get a cheap tank you're laughing.. and i'm sure if you look around you'd be able to find the yellow bellies cheaper.. herman turtles are more expensive as you need a certificate for them..

EDIT - £36 thats all :astonished: lol For a box turtle they are like £70 lol And I know, was looking on ebay for tanks etc
