HAHAHA thats brilliant. love dance music, and went to EXIT festival in serbia last july. it u have a spare £300 for transport and ticket etc its statistically the best festival in europe ... anyone been?

Out of interest when people say they love dance music, i just don't understand. I mean, its the same beat throughout, 4 bars of music repeated throughout the piece. Not music at all. Around me its associated with chavs, as the only people who listen to it are chavs. Obviously people have different tastes, and i bet im starting another argument, but around me, anyhow, its a chav thing! It might be just an area thing though btw lol Bet you all think i'm just being stupid, but for people up to the age of 18 (school and college children), the chavs always have this crappy music blaring from their phones!!! There will always be exceptions who like it, and for different age groups people might appreciate this music in different ways. Anyway discuss your view on this topic.... might have already complained about it alreadyin this topic coming to think of it lol!

i can't understand whats the point to argue about music the same thing as movies, that's personal taste. every man is diferent with personal taste. yes when i was 14-16 i was saying about what music are u talking? i see only rock nothing more. but now i see many genres of music. u can say this music ir crap and this is good, because that's only taste. as one person will like pizza and other fich and chips. music can be right... yes it can be, looking from perspective how is it made. about what dance music r u talking.... i think those who say that dance music is crap haven't heared right music. i don't say dance music... as i don't know what is that... couse there are lots of diferent genres. the same like it can be Rock "Pop" that's for mass and has no profesionalism like something as mc fly or what ever, the same can be with as u call it "dance", u see only pop side. try to listen such styles as IDM, minimal, soulful house, jazz house, expermental such music i could call intellectual music and in the same time is electronic.
so i'm for various styles, from rock to minimal. at the moment i listen to CocoRosie, i love them

when i say dance though, i refer more to the repetitive beats side of things. Dance is for one thing, and the name suggests what its for! You could include clubbing as well i guess. personally, i know what you mean when you say everyone is to their own. For example i don't like R+B and Classical on the whole, but that is good music if you know what i mean and is technical and skillful to make. Whilst dance music is so repetitive, i'm sure i could have a fairly decent go at it if i had all the equipment required for it!

i can't agree with you exept that place that i don't like R&B as well i can't agree about clubs with u as there are diferent clubs... 4 example where i life now i can't go clubing because they play crap, they play cheap music and u can see on the dance flore some fat chicks "dancing" by "dance" tunes. all that is just POP
