I like all sorts from ska, both original two tone suff and the ska punk genre, I listen to jazz, druma nd bass, techno, I have an extremely varied taste, my mp3 collection would amaze people who know me.. I am also into punk in a big way... my mum is friends with Arturo Bassick from 999!!

i named my son jake partly cus of less than jake lol , mad caddies bore me a bit reel big fis are average, you should check out rx bandits and the boucing souls tho! i like alot of punk stuff like nofx , strungout , antiflag lagwagon etc

Funny thread, i enjoyed reading through that!

My opinion is that biker's age means that he hasn't experienced going clubbing with mates or anything which is something almost EVERYONE does at some point and most people end up liking dance as a result of that! you can like almost anything if you listen to it enough (including folk+glam rock as mentioned on the mighty boosh

)

Again, i'm another one to tick all the boxes!

we all go through that stage of "hating" dance music, then we grow up, go to uni and find that attractive women dance to dance music in clubs, and if you dont take yourself seriously, its actually a good larf.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a grizzled really bad dark heavy metal fan. Doesnt mean i don't like getting dressed up and going to the local club and busting moves with the rest of the world.

In fact just to prove it to you all i'm gonna put on the chemical brothers - do it again followed by The Haunted - DOA

You'll see, when you get older you can't help but enjoy other music

Oh and sorry for double post.... but Stone Roses, Morrissey and the Smiths... listen and weep at the beauty

I know, im surprised must say, how far in front that genre is. I could have put Alternative as my favourite genre as well, as i have a few faves from that genre including my most played song in my itunes library by far, Starlight, by Muse. What a song!
