When I saw the title of this thread I thought I would have my say and offer advice as I'm one of the "elders" but after reading a few of the posts it just saddened me slightly.

First of all, I dont know who started the thread/poll as I didnt go that far back and have no intention of doing so as I dont wish to judge/condemn the person butif someone needs the opinions of members who might only be 13/14 years of age, and feels the need to conduct a poll to help him to decide what to do in a situation that can and would be life changing for not only him but also complete families, then I have to say that his feelings for this girl are not strong enough to risk so much for.

I'm guessing that the younger members would basically say "go for it" and the older ones would tell you to think about it and what it involves. Call it maturity but my opinion at 41 is far different to what it would have been at 21 because at that age all you wanted was a place to bury the beef bayonet and didnt care about the consequences but as you get older (and wiser) you think about the repercussions more.
