Super Mario get's my vote, beating the Zelda series by a whisker.

Having said that, it's Ocarina of Time that is my favourite game ever. As a whole series though, Super Mario Bros. wins it for me. Everyone is near perfect!

I like GTA but for me, I voted for other...............TOMB RAIDER!

Easy choice for me, the first one still being the best, so I've pre-ordered Tomb Raider Anniversary out on 1st June, a re-make of the first

Have just noticed this thread. Some of you young-uns have grown up with the modern games so wont know how limited the graphics were before these new fangled video games.

When I was young, video game fun used to consist of typing program for a couple of hours into your Spectrum only to run it and it never worked or load games through a cassette player and waiting 4 minutes maybe to be left with a loading screen and nothing else...happy days.

Anyway, the point (there is one, honest). The game which changed the goalposts as far as graphics were concerned was "Gran Turismo". So, I nominate the Gran Turismo series to be the best modern series, just beating Monty Mole by a whisker.
