| FireFox Rules! | Re: mobile networks?Right now I am on T-Mobile but I am switching to 3 since T-Mobile didn't want to give me a decent upgrade.. even after being with them now for over 3 years! Anyway, with 3 my price plan that I have here will be valid for me in Sweden when I go back home.. so free calls and texts there also from my mobile!! Cheers Tom

| FireFox Rules! | Re: mobile networks?Tallulah, not sure what you want out from your mobile but I went for the Nokia N73 X-series, which if you have a Skype account you can use through your mobile and be able to keep in touch with any of your friends that has a Skype account.. and you can call out through your Skype which is cheaper then calling from your landline, especially if you are calling International! There is a SonyEricson due also that will be compatible for their X-series services, not sure when though.. Cheers Tom

| iPod 60gb | Re: mobile networks? My opinions are: Vodafone - Excellent for reception and customer service, bad for price Orange - Good for customer service, price is reasonable, bad for reception can be a little dodgey O2 - Hope their head office burns down And I haven't used any other although my mates regularly tell me how good t mobile are |

![]() | Re: mobile networks?i thought t-mobile would be the most popular. All of my friends have that network, its annoying since virgin has 3p per text to all other virgin numbers, but no one I know has one. last time I checked o2 were real rip offs, maybe you should port your number to virgin? |

![]() ![]() | Re: mobile networks?Everyone I know thinks that a contract is only good until your messages etc go done. But when my 3 contract messages go done for the month, it's only 8p to any network for texts after that.

Supposed to be £30 a month, the first bill was £60, second was £42, third was £50-odd, we complained to Orange about 6 times and now every bill is dot on £30. His phone keeps going seriously mental, I can ring him and it will connect straight to his answerphone, yet he's not using it, it's got perfect signal coverage etc At least once a week (used to happen more regularly than this) his phone will show inactive sim, when it comes back on we ring orange and they fob us off with some story about a mast not working properly. We tell Orange that this is no good as my boyfriend rides a bike, what happens if he gets hit by a bus/car/falls off etc and his phone shows this....their reply.....NOT OUR PROBLEM!! We're desperately trying to find a loophole in his contract to get him out of it without having to stump up the rest of the line rental...anyone got any ideas?? | |

![]() | Re: mobile networks?Ive been with Vodafone for about a year, then shifted to Orange and right now I'm seriously considering to go for O2 as my 12 month contract will end next month. To be honest, I love Orange, they've got extremely helpful and great customer service, however the rate Im using my minutes are not helping me on my bills - 120 minutes 1000 text at 25 pounds per month and usually I spend about 49 -70 pounds having to go OVER my minutes. Found a site that does cashbacks for O2 at 10 pounds per month (after cashback) for 400 minutes anytime any network and 100 texts including the Sony Ericsson K750i phone which I couldnt care for. But thought this might be a good deal. Please do advice me if anyone's got any experience with cashback offers. |

| iPod 60gb | Re: mobile networks?talllulah one that I used to do all the time, ring them up and ask to go on their cheapest tariff. then wait a month so that the tariff you requested is active then ring up and canel your contract, you have to pay the remaining months but selling the phone almost always covers the cost of this. I think it's because of people like me doing this that there are so many 18 month contracts now. What I used to do with o2 when a new phone came out is go and get it for free on one of their highest tariffs walk out the shop, phone them and tell them to reduce it sell the phone, pay them off then pocket the rest
