 | Tonight's game - winner RobWas nice having 8 players tonight. Hopefully we can keep this going TONIGHT'S HIGH PRESSURE MOMENT - Three clubs hit the flop, I am holding an Ace of clubs but Furbs bets into me pretty big. I decide to call but the turn card is a diamond. Furbs bets into me even bigger now. At this time I know he has already made his flush but I call his 500 chip bet with my stack of around 2100 chips. There's around a 25% I could get lucky but if I don't Im still in the game. Would you believe it a club comes down on the river and I'm saved!! I have a nutflush and there's no possibility of a full house cus there's five different ranks on the board. But Furbs bets even bigger this time - over 1000 chips. I figure he's got a Q or K so I raise all-in with my remaining stack of 1700 chips. Low and behold Furbs reveals a STRAIGHT FLUSH and Im not quite sure what hit me! I won the side pot of around 600 chips but soon after I am out in 4th place. That was the biggest pot of the night and I have to say karma has shined down upon Furbs! If anyone deserved a hand like that it's him for so kindly donating a poker prize fund for this edition of the league. Great game everybody! Look forward to next week!!
