Good use for all those free O2 sim cards

Simply pop the free 02 sim in your phone.

wait for the message "Welcome to 02 blah blah blah......." then send a text sms "BALANCE" without the quotes to 20202, you will see "Your balance is £0.00". You will shortly recieve a text from 02. saying

"blah blah blah..... 300 messaging units & 1.0 MB left which will expire on blah blah.

This works have fun

thats exactly what it does........ it needs to be a new sim though

doesnt work with used ones. but if your anything like me........ you have got loads of these lying around!

nope i have never eceived a so called "gold number". some with a few repeating digits but nothing really special.

O2 give them away every now and again, you can get alerts when they are running an offer from www.simalert.com

I've now signed up to simalert.com and thanks to mozfadz for the links, only the last one worked but 4 cards is better than none! I once found two abandoned O2 sim cards in the back of a car (one of those replacement ones you get when your car is being serviced), maybe it was from an exceem member who had too many!
