We know some people were disappointed when we told them we’d made a mistake and that it should have been £10 a month.

The great news is that the original offer price will stand and we'll be reviewing all the orders shortly. Once we've done that, we'll begin order processing from Monday onwards.

What happens next?

We'll contact you from Monday by email with more details about your order.

No, I ignored their offer email and was going to forget about it until I received the email from them today.

For some reason they've sent me the email twice, not sure if this will mean they will be sending me two sims/contracts or not! lol

The way I understood the email was that they were going to honor the £0 mis-price and for those that have already accepted the £7.71 counteroffer (going by their latest happenings not many people did...) will be contacted to have theirs reduced too.

Either way we have a free 12 month contract, unless the give 30 days notice to up the price once the contract has started. If that happens you can cancel anyway.

Unfortunately I did'nt make them change their mind, just sharing the news.

The synical part of me thinks they have done this, as they will be able to write off all the costs of this as a loss to reduce their tax bill or something similarly creative in the accounts, but who cares as its a win for a fair few people

The best bit is I've not even used the sim card yet as still waiting on o2 unlocking my iPhone!

Will be phoning them shortly to ask that they return the money!

When I phoned they claimed the only discount showing on my account was £2.50!

£10.21 - £2.50 = £7.71

I tried to put them straight but the lady wasn't having any of it and said she would get someone to ring me back about it tomorrow.
