![]() | So basically, To have a high ranked site you need a few keywords in there and thousands of good backlinks to you site. Is this right? Thanks for all your help MJ10. |

| Mini Mac | I have 16000+ backlinks and rank on first page for a few of my keywords such as 'free wii', 'free ps3' and 'free iphone 3gs'. A lot of my backlinks are poor blog commenting but I have a couple of good ones. Something you need to remember is that getting a high ranking in google isn't going to happen overnight for freebie keywords as there is a lot of competition. I have been working on my site for 18 months and I still cannot get above Furbs site.

| Mini Mac | Hey guys, quick question, Am I able to simply redirect a site from Gandi to where it is currently hosted?

| iPod 60gb | Yes, use a 302 redirect so that any backlink juice from links to the Gandi site push through and count as backlinks for your current one. That is if I'm right in assuming you already have the website with domain set-up, and you are just adding another domain name? If you want it to act as a second website then change the DNS info on the Gandi site, although I can't see any benefit in doing this as google doesn't like duplicate content. |
