Free Games (HL2, Peggle, Portal etc.) for ATi/nVidia users

IF you have either of these brands of graphics cards (which you probably will) just go to either of these games:

ATi:
Half Life 2: Lost Coast (tech demo)
Half Life 2: Deathmatch

Nvidia:
Half Life 2: Lost Coast (tech demo)
Half Life 2: Deathmatch
Portal: First Slice (11 level demo)
Peggle Extreme

All that's required is that you install "Steam" (also on the URLs above) and create an account with it. Steam is just a service for purchasing and playing games digitally so you can play games instantly without needing to wait for delivery.

I don't know about the ATI offered games, but with the ones of NVIDIA - the Deathmatch to be exact, you get the Source SDK engine (tool) which means that your steam account now has all Half-Life 2 Source Engine files, so just go to Steam - Free Mods and you can download and play all of those HL2 mods for free also!

BTW, Thanks for the link. I had Deathmatch, so just got the other Nvidia games, and im on my way to my laptop with ATI to get the ati ones , all on the same account
