Its a page used to make people sign up to a mailing list because they are interested in what you are offering, these people are more likely to go on and sign up for what ever you are offering as they have taken one step further than just clicking on a link.

It is also a good way to build a mailing list, which interacts with one project on the site I am currently doing.

Well having been accepted I used the free website builder (as I'm being lazy atm and cba to build from scratch) and it looks OK!

What you all think? (I've gone for simplicity... plus they only let you design 1 page without paying!)

Howdy again all! Sorry I haven't replied since, day off and that. We all have them!

Ok so it seems like a fair amount of you have had some success with your registrations which is great news! Welcome to Freeoa I should say.

To answer a few questions:

Rather than using .htaccess you can use or free web forwarding option available from your online control panel if you wish. Simple case of clicking a few buttons and typing in the target url. A lot simpler, especially if you don't know a lot about .htaccess.

The InstantPro Builder is constantly being upgraded, and I'm glad you like the look of it so far. We have just recently decided to allow users to create a free home page using the software so it sounds like that's what you have found. You can actually build the entire website, just only put 1 page live. So build it, preview it and then decide whether you want to go for the full upgrade.

As for exclusive offers for this site, I don't know about that!

But if there is enough people asking, it might be worth considering (no promises though!)

I'll try and pop on here and keep an eye on your questions if you wish. But you can always use the official Freeola forums if you wish. I'll link it here but I am not sure whether I can or not. I found the web page builder pretty easy to use with quite a few options. What you'd expect from a free service. I'm using it for now until I get time to work on a new site design.

Woop Woop... had my 1st sign up in ages and it came from my new .info site!!!

I literally posted it as a link on facebook earlier today and had a sign up a few hours later! Did not expect that! Let's hope it goes green.

Don't know why someone would sign up to a site I spent an hour on and not to a site I spent a year on

Not that I'm complaining!

And cheers for people's comments about our company making an effort. We try whenever we can to be honest. If you can't make an effort, you can't really expect people to want to work with you can you? It all works out mutually.

If you take a look a the technical forums you will see our support is pretty active too. Don't understand why some companies are not, just seems like bad practise to us.
