Here is the second half of the tracklisting as it was too many characters for one single post.

SelfSilent has a spectacular aura about
I'll stick with Spotify. Millions of tracks, all free, on demand and you don't have to store them on your computer.

Aii that's a good point. Does look like a pretty good thing Radio 1 are doing though, want to increase my knowledge in hip hop though so will look into both. Spotify is the best thing since sliced bread though, brilliant

Thats for the links but hip hop as a genre is so.... not good. I'll stick with my old fashioned rock and or roll.

Why not do both? Boring to listen to the same genre methinks hence why i listen to such broad styles of music. Spanish Rock was tonight for example and blimey i have found a brilliant band called Fito & Fitipaldis thanks to Spotify. Just awesome, really needs to be checked out, it's got a lot in it which is really really good to listen to.

lol how? Their sound is very much like the Rock we know of, Rock N Roll, Blues, Rock, Sax solo's, they're huge in Spain, it's a shame we don't have bands like this doing well in our mainstream as we have mainly crap bands these days doing well tbh.

Besides look at the top 40, there are hardly any bands in it, KOL is an exception, but their new album is awful, which is a shame as their early stuff is quite good. But band state here atm is worrying i think.

obviously that is not the majorities view, else they would not be getting number 1 hits etc.

It's common knowledge with the people who know quite a bit about music that most of the mainstream bands are of poor quality. They get given radio play by idiot DJs and the radio and the tv is where most people get knowledge about music (as most people won't bother to look into music etc.). There's good consistent bands out there (Feeder, Stereophonics, Super Furry Animals, Manics, Muse, Killers, TV On The Radio) but the top 40 suggests otherwise as most of these bands don't chart well.

so are you saying people who listen to mainstream know nothing about music?

edit: did you hear Muse are doing an Autumn tour? Woop Woop!
