I was looking on the net and found this site: www.applausestore.com
They basically give away FREE tickets to show like X Factor, Britains Got Talent and other live shows. Have a look, it's really cool. If you have any questions, post on this thread!

Yeh this site is really good for tickets, they email you with updates and what not too, almost got top gear tickets off this site.

how does this work then ? how are they able to give you the tickets for free ?

the tickets are free anyway i think so this site is just one of the ones that distributes them out (i think anyway!!)

The thing is you've got to get to the venue really early as they give away way more tickets than the number of seats.

I was going to go to the 8 out of 10 cats BB special and despite being an hour early we were still turned away as they had enough people.

In the UK there are about 5 sites that give tickets for live show away for free. Applause Store is one of them. When shows are recorded, if there is an audience, it adds to the atmosphere, so you get free tickets in return you add to the atmosphere. Applause Store distribute the tickets for the show on behalf of the producers. They make their money when they sell priority passes and a small amount for distributing the tickets.

I got tickets to Britains got talent, I go there about 4 hours early and just about got through. The best thing to do is purchase priority pass, it might cost a little bit but i'll save you loads of time and it is valid for a year.

It costs £15-£20 for a year depending on the number of tickets, if you are only going to one show it is not worth it as they are subject to avaiability and you are not gauraunteed priority bit if you are planning to use it often then it is worth it.
