Plus no free sample sites stay in the dark for long, just using google i found other sites hosting similar freebies, in fact I found all of mine on thefreebielist.com after a quick google search, I guess I'll have to try harder to find stuff that isnt easily found elsewhere =D

Actually for DVD's i think youll find http://bigpockets.co.uk/ is the cheapest and I would personally recommend them. I buy my DVD-R LightScribe disks from there. These are packs of 5 and i think i got 4 packs for under £20 inc p+p. Fast delivery to

Hmm compared the 2, datawrite titanium (my favourite) is 10p cheaper at bigpockets, but datasafe white (if i'm feeling a little more skint at the time) is 20p cheaper at burn-media.

so not a lot in it,

bigpockets have free shipping on some items (add one and everything ships free) but theres nothing cheaper than a tenner and nothing that i'd want.

otherwise shipping costs about the same, with bigpockets shipping charge being less than burnmedia's 1st class charge, but more than their 2nd class charge.

There is however not mention on next day delivery from bigpockets, burn-media however offer next day shipping (if you order before 4:45pm) for only £5.25

so umm there you go, it looks to me like bigpockets works out a little cheaper, but possibly at the expense of convience.

burn-media I would whole-heartedly recommend because I use them a lot, they advised me on what media would be right for my drive, and they have in-depth information about all the discs they sell including dye types, and what they are best suited to.

I can't speak for bigpockets because I haven't used them, but you do have Morphius's recommendation.

As brufterman said :P I would prob go the other way. Ive used bigpockets for only about 6 months but they are cheap and delivery is fast, and they've now started to do other things as well!

Denver anything like free blank media is great or anything else for your pc that is free (except freeware programs) is also great

Denvar - your mission should you choose to accept it is to find a site kind enough to give away 1gb flash drives, sure we would settle for 512kb if that's all that is available.

Been after one for a while but never got round to buying one, in fact since getting into exceem, it's tough paying for anything now, need to find a site offering unlimited food and petrol in exchange for referrals

If anyonel looks into it please leave a comment about how much money/trouble it cost you, im always weary of 'You only pay P&P)' offers.

most of those things can be found in your local pound shop, the dvd-rs look like bulkpaq which really arn't worth getting free even nowadays

I guess I'll just focus on getting a decent freebie of the day for now then, custom requests will be dealt with afterwards =D

The only USB pens I have found so far are if you go to 'live' demos of products etc or take part in a lesson or something. all require your presence.


Ill keep looking though, kinda fancy a USB pen myself.

DVD Media doesnt seem like a popular sample/gift at the moment, I have fragrence freebies pouring out of my ears however, and enough mousemats to supply a whole school.
