|  Re: Freebie-A-DayHey my Which? camera arrived just now and I haven't even cancelled my subscription yet (taking payment on Jan 1st so lots of time yet). (See the beginning thread and the link to get your free camera is in the red list of freebies by Denvar). It is quite cool and sells for anything from £4 to £12+ on ebay. e.g. an ended auction for the camera on ebay. The specs are posted on that auction too. It's a 100K TDC-15 DIGITAL CAMERA you receive. It doesn't have a flash (so saves the 3xaaa battery power - batteries supplied) but has a timer and a mini tripod so you can take photos of the two of you without anyone elses help! Great to put in the handbag on a night out (mini tripod folds down too.) It is small and only holds 19 photos (doesn't take an sd card) but it is fun and it can be used as a webcam through windows (once the driver from the intallation CD is installed) or as a camera - you seem to have to use the Arksoft software on the supplied CD to get the pics off - but it does work. You do get a free mini tripod which is a standard tripod fitting to be used with any camera with tripod port. I'll be using the tripod (with my quality camera) to take pics of some small studs and charms on the table (for my ebay jewellery business) since the big tripod is rather hefty and has to sit on the floor rather than the table. Just thought I'd let you know about the camera. Thanks to Denvar by the way, as it's a great freebie! Danyelle |
