Command & Conquer - Red Alert


Not sure how many of you are into PC games but for those that are and don't have the original Command & Conquer Red Alert already this might be for you.

COMMAND & CONQUER RED ALERT 3

Also, if you pre-order Red Alert 3, EA will send you Red Alert 2 for free, so it might of interest of people that has the first one also!

Yeah was quite annoyed at that freebie, I was hoping to put my copy on ebay to sell. But if EA are giving it away for nowt there's no point

Only 2 months till RA3 now though

It'll have better controls and visuals. Not sure about any other differences.

I'd really like to know how you control a RTS game using a console controller. I just can't see how it would work without the mouse and keyboard. Without keyboard shortcuts and the ability to group units (although can't remember if that was available in RA 1).

And I'm not sure what RA is like but I know C&C 3 is better supported on the PC so it has had a lot more bug fixes. Since RA is older I wouldn't imagine that was such an issue since internet updating didn't really happen then but I'd still add better supported to the list of differences.
