Free Sky+ Box or 1/2 Price Sky HD Box

Hey,

If this kind of post is not allowed feel free to delete it. I don't even know how good a deal it is as I got my Sky ages ago now, but I know I paid £150 for my Sky+ box.

Anyway, received a letter from Sky today saying:

"Make a friend smile with a free Sky+ box, and we'll give you £50 M&S vouchers."

You can also get £75 off a Sky HD box.

If anyone's interested send me a PM.

Yeah, I have had a couple of these through the post, has to be a new customer, not a returning one.

I have seen stories of people geting free sky+ via threatening to quit to Virgin Media (though they have been Sky customers for a few years)

Always look out for the stands in shoping centres as they always seam to have better deals going than the current ones on the sky website to.

Re: Free Sky+ Box or 1/2 Price Sky HD Box

i got offered sky hd from sky itself the other day for £99 and free installation
basicly i asked how much to swap to it , they said £150 pluse £60 installation, so i basicly argued bartered etc n finally went to retentions to cancel it (which i didnt want to do) they asked why so i explained that im cancelling it and restarting in my misses name, they went on with the spill about same address n name etc which here bank cards are in here maiden name still as soon as i told them this they said still cant do it , so i said if i was moving someone cant come in to this house n get sky for a year to which they replied yes of coarse they can. after a while they went away and came up with the deal, since this 2 of my mates have down it etc, ne way i didnt want sky hd as setanta isnt on it n i wanna watch the blue square prem in hd n nothing else.

i know u wont understand this but i knew what i meant hehe

Threatened to leave virgin for sky for their bb and we got a good discount + upgraded to higher BB + TV and unlimited phone + £50 credit for a new router which wasnt needed. All good, worth a call if they refuse the first time...try again! I think the idea is to sound serious by stating why your moving, not just generally say its a better deal on the alternative. State the charges and the additional features etc - makes you sound serious!
