18185 - cheap phone calls

Hey everyone,

Dunno if this has been mentioned here before, but here is the link to a site that will significantly reduce your bt phone bill.

If you (like me) are on the bt together 1 package, then all you get is free weekend calls and the rest of the time your calls are about 5p (initial connection fee) then 4p for every minute thereafter.

With 18185 you pay 4p for the inital connection, and then its FREE no matter how long you spend on the phone.

It is set up using direct debit, so if you ring 18185 and then a local number, and spend 3 hours on the phone, it will still only cost you 4p and this will be debited from you account, and not show on your bt bill as a charge.

It is also cheaper to ring mobiles and abroad.

how do they make money from this?
ive seen sites like this but they usually have a hefty connection fee of about £3.50-5.
