Nope ... all your doing is agreeing to receive a free card through the post. With this card (its like a payg sim really) you can load it with money when you need a credit card but don't have one. Eg if you wanted to buy stuff off amazon and didn't have a credit or debit card you can load your V3 card up at the local shop and then use that instead.

I've not done anything with my card ... left it in it's envelope until an emergency or whatever arises.

The info on the site just says it's a free £5 voucher that you apply to your account. I read through all the small print and it doesn't specify any restrictions ... plus the expiry date is 2nd November 2009.

well if it is llike all the other Amazon gift vouchers, it should not have any minimum spend requirements, but do keep in mind that if you buy something for £5, you will still need to pay the postage price for it.
