Finally!!! Change Nintendo Stars for Wii Points

You can get 100 Wii Points for every 400 Nintendo Stars - not a great exchange rate, but at least they're free!!

Are these the stars that you get with games? if so, how many do you get with each game?

If not, enlighten us lol

Yeah they are. You get 250 stars for each game you register and 500 for each system. You also used to be able to earn stars for referring people to Nintendo's website, and you get 5 stars per visit (only one visit per day counts).

I've got about 3800 which works out at 900 points.

EDIT - not all games have stars. It seems only to be the official Nintendo titles.

Wow, they've totally updated the stars catalogue as well, so you can now buy t-shirts, hats etc. Owen, buy the Mario games holder rack! Go to the nintendo club site, it looks class. I've only got 1000 stars, so am just gonna get some wii points.

I tried to click the link to become a "Club Nintendo member" but when I click the UK site, I get an error message saying it isnt available.

I don't really want the games holder thingy - I'm going to spend all of my stars on Wii points. Seems you can only buy 2 x 100 points cards per day for some reason.

I think they've only just launched it - it hasn't been working properly all day. Just give it time......

Woo yay. 5800 stars should be enough on Wii Points =D. Club Nintendos working for me.. if you've registered games before click "Join Club Nintendo" then scroll down to the bottom and log in.

Yup, it's slow but yesterday I couldnt even get to the registration page. I can today though

Can you expand on this? I have games from ages ago and was gonna go through all the boxes to see if there were "scratch cards" in them but will they not be valid now? Or do you only have so long after registering them?
