please don't ban me for this but couldn't exceem have a section for offers like this ? instead of putting them in the online freebies section ? just seems it gets more deals posted then freebies and would be nice to split them..

*runs for cover from emma and her banning stick for speaking out of line*

is it worth putting this forward to anyone with the power ?

and can anyone confirm if this memory would work in a compaq nx7400 ? i've got 1gig so far which i beleive is 2 x 512mb, so would i have to remove one of them or what ?

the best way to find compatability is to use the crucial online compatability checker...

Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com

and then just make a note of the specs!!

I never did understand anything about overclocking ram. I guess I'll have to wait two years until I take computing.

As in "special school"? or "special bus"? What do you mean by "special"? (imagine me doing the finger "quote" thing!)

I put "normal" (fingers again) bog-standard RAM in my G4 and it worked fine. I'm a bit skeptical about people charging you twice as much money for "Apple Compatible" memory
