This is courtesy of the Daily Express promotion for a free £5 bet for the Cheltenham festival. Valid until Midnight 15th March.

New customers
Go to http://www.coral.co.uk/festival and open an account. Go to "account options" and choose "redeem Bonus". Enter the bonus code "FESTIVAL". New balance will show £5 (or click refresh if it doesn't). Then place bet.

Existing customers
Same as above basically, log into account and then follow above from "account options".

A few peopl are tipping Detroit City at 3.15 Cheltenham but obviously you can choose your own bet.

If you're a new customer, and you win, can only withdraw you're winning after depositing some more 'real' money though

yea but the terms of the offer is to deposit 5 quid

would that count as your five?

or would it have to be five from your own money.

Well it says in the paper if you win and you are a new customer you have to deposit at least £1 to be able to withdraw your winnings, but it explicitly states in the paper that you can then withdraw this £1 at any time you like with your winnings so it's not too bad.

I suppose it's to make sure you have a card on file, because obviously you wouldn't be able to withdraw without a card on file to withdraw to.

I dunno, worth doing anyway, even if you win but can't be bothered with the £1 deposit you've lost nothing, except a couple of minutes i suppose.

I think i worked out why, i noticed in the paper today the offer has changed. Firstly it's now only open to new customers. Secondly you redeem it by signing up at http://www.coral.co.uk/thur (it might be /thurs i can't remember). Though i assume that's just today's code.

I'd like to think they changed it because of all the exceemers getting it.

Today's (Friday) redemption code is "FRIDAY". Can be used by new and existing customers apparently.

Have not done it today yet as i am at uni so i'm unsure if it will work if you got one of the bonuses earlier in the week but worth a try.

Didn't Detroit City race on Tuesday? What time/race? I can't gamble on Uni computers and won't get home till about 4.00 today so i'm going to have to go for the horse Tony McCoy is riding at 5.15 (can't remember the name) at 6-1.

There's another one in that race that's 40-1 but a few people are tipping. If i can get bonuses with both codes i'll go that one too but i can't remember his name either!! An irish horse!

I did go each way, though it seems I have won a total of 58p. I dont really bet so not sure, lol.

I put the £9 bonus money on it each way and now I have £9.58

It could be that you got an £18.58 return, but they automatically deduct the returned £9 stake from it (since it's just a free bet and not real money!)

So I reckon you're £9.58 up Try and withdraw it and see what happens!

It wont let me withdraw the money, it says

Where we offer to match a customer's initial deposit as part of a promotion, this money is provided for customers to bet with, and it may never be withdrawn as cash.

We reserve the right to insist that customers bet the amount of their own deposit before they can bet with the free money we credit to them.

So, if I now put £1 into my account and bet it, would I then be eligible to withdraw the £9.58?

Thing is, I didnt even know I had an account until giveaway opened up this offer and I was unable to do so because I'm a Gala member.
