I have an old OnDigital Freeview box and don't live in a freeview area. i am able to receive cetain channels such as E4 but not E4+1 and can't receive things like UKTV History. I was wondering if I buy a new box which should have a better tuner, could i pick up more channels? My neighbours get all the channels with their new boxes but I think they might have upgraded their aerials.

You can buy a signal booster from Argos. There's loads in there I think. We just got a new catalogue.

These 2 channels are unencrypted anyway so if you're clever it's easy to watch them. The res these channels transmit at stinks though.

I wouldnt do it ! A friend of mine is/ was an engineer for them and set up his box to get it for free. All the front row stuff and sport and movies, and the ppv adult stuff. He thought he got away with it for a year !

Nope, they just made a list of everythign he had watched in the past year and sent him a bill with late payment charges !! It was over a grand !
